Fizdale has 'no ill feelings' over Knicks firing
Former New York Knicks head coach David Fizdale has "no ill feelings" toward the team after being dismissed on Dec. 6, not even halfway through his four-year contract. "That's the business we've chosen," Fizdale said Wednesday on "Golic and Wingo," according to ESPN's Malika Andrews. "I respect those guys greatly. I miss the hell out of them. ... I obviously learned a ton from it and I was just really grateful to have that opportunity to say I was the head coach of the Knicks.

Randle, Barrett help Knicks rally to beat Heat 124-121
NEW YORK (AP) — Julius Randle scored 26 points, RJ Barrett chipped in 23 and the New York Knicks rallied to beat the Miami Heat 124-121 on Sunday. Kevin Knox had 17 points off the bench and Reggie Bullock added 16 for the Knicks, who snapped a five-game losing streak. Jimmy Butler had 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat, who blew a lead down the stretch for the second time during their weekend stay in New York. James Johnson scored 19 points. Miami led by 14 with 3:33 left in the third quarter and Butler had a chance to tie the game twice for the Heat in regulation.
The Knicks ' second defeat in 24 hours moved them a step closer to being kept out of the playoffs for the second straight season. Reigning NBA most valuable player Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 37 points on 17 shots in just 21 minutes. He also added nine rebounds and four assists.
Fellow Bucks starters Khris Middleton (17 points) and Eric Bledsoe (11 points) also only had to play 21 minutes in this laugher.
The Bucks have been steamrolling over the competition on season. Tuesday's victory was the team's 13th by 20 or more points this season.
The Bucks had beaten the Knicks by 44 and 21 points in their first two meetings this season and this game was headed toward another blowout from the opening tip.
New York interim coach Mike Miller burned two timeouts within the first five minutes as the Bucks raced to an 18-4 lead. Milwaukee was shooting 8 for 11 at that point while the Knicks were only 1 for 8.

New York whittled the lead down to four points in the first quarter. But the Bucks opened the second quarter with a 10-0 blitz, which included five points and two assists from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The lead expanded to 65-40 after Antetokounmpo hit two free throws right before halftime. He finished the first half with 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
The Bucks shot 8 for 19 on three-pointers in the first half, with seven players knocking down triples. Milwaukee also had 20 fast-break points, while New York registered none.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer gave backup center Robin Lopez the night off to rest. That opened up the opportunity for Dragan Bender to get some playing time.
Bender, who has played nine games with the Wisconsin Herd in the G League this season, checked into the game in the first quarter. He missed his only two shots in the first half, but he pulled down four rebounds in 10 minutes.
Former Bucks employee pleads guilty to using county letterhead to help boyfriend collect debt
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- A former Bucks County employee has pleaded guilty to using county letterhead to try to help her boyfriend collect an unpaid bill. listen to the audio Lynn Owens was a clerk with the Bucks County Jury Selection Commission office. After a homeowner refused to pay her boyfriend $157 of a $675 bill for work he'd done on the woman's home, she typed out a letter threatening legal action on her county work computer, and printed it on the commission letterhead, then sent it by certified mail.The letter threatened legal action if the $157 wasn't paid.Owens was fired when charges were filed.

The lead reached 72-42 early in the third quarter when Antetokounmpo nailed a three at the top of the key.
Antetokounmpo looked like he might reach 40 points by the end of the third quarter. He had 37 after hitting three free throws midway through the quarter before heading to the bench at the 5:40 mark. He scored 17 points in the third quarter on 6-for-7 shooting.
Antetokounmpo never had to return to the game as the Bucks' reserves played the fourth quarter.
Ersan Ilyasova had 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Donte DiVincenzo added nine points, four assists and three rebounds.
The Bucks' bench players combined to score 50 points.
Julius Randle led the Knicks with 25 points and rookie R.J. Barrett added 22. The Bucks have won 11 of their last 12 matchups with the Knicks.
The competition for the Bucks gets better on Thursday when the Boston Celtics come to Fiserv Forum. Boston is the second-best team in the Eastern Conference at 27-11.
The Celtics won the first matchup of the season, 116-105, on Oct. 30. the teams met in the Eastern Conference semifinals last season, with the Bucks earning a 4-1 series victory.
