Check out Zion Williamson goes crazy tonight as Spartanburd defeated Chrstian Academy to advance to the SCISA State Championship! Williamson had some nasty dunks including a windmill alley oop and he barely missed a 360 between the legs dunk!

An alley - oop is one of the most fascinating plays in basketball. Fans go crazy over it. Players get a lot of energy off of it. And a lot of times in an alley - oop , passing is more important because the pass has to be on point for these guys to be able to go up and finish.

The Ja Morant-Zion Williamson connection might just be unstoppable. Moments after connecting for an incredible halfcourt, alley-oop dunk, the rookie duo took their game to the next level with one of the best moments in the history of the Rising Stars Challenge.

Pelicans star rookie Zion Williamson dealing with sprained toe

Pelicans star rookie Zion Williamson dealing with sprained toe It doesn't sound serious, but the last things the Pelicans want is for Williamson to suffer any setbacks.Unfortunately for New Orleans, the injury bug has popped up once again surrounding Williamson. The team added him to its injury report ahead of Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Zion Williamson bends backboard, Luka Doncic drains half-court shot in Rising Stars Challenge. Williamson also caused jaws to drop with some sweet alley - oop action, teaming up with last summer’s No. 2 pick, Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja 👀 Ja Morant with the between the legs lob to Zion !

Even when the whistle is blown, the Warriors are fun to watch . Following a Klay Thompson block on Raptors guard Kyle Lowry's layup attempt, Andre Iguodala ended up with the ball and threw Shaun Livingston a stupid, between -the- legs , behind-the-back lob for the alley - oop finish.

Morant took advantage of the two-on-one fast break with his former AAU teammate leading the way. As Zion prepared to take flight, Morant, pulled off a between-the-legs move in the air and floated it up to the New Orleans Pelicans’ rookie. If the wild pass wasn’t enough to excite fans, Zion threw down the one-handed slam to finish off the wild alley-oop sequence.

At this point, the dictionary is out of words to describe the kinds of highlights these two are producing. While they played AAU ball together growing up, it’s been a few years since they were teammates. The time away clearly hasn’t impacted them since they’re showing the kind of chemistry and timing that it takes some teammates a decade to develop.

Zion Williamson is the Shaquille O'Neal of NBA small-ball .
Zion Williamson is everything we imagined him to be, and he is only just getting started. Imagine stuffing Shaquille O’Neal inside of Michael Jordan, and you have Zion — a 6-foot-6, 285-pound freak who can bounce around, over or through anyone in the NBA at age 19. The New Orleans Pelicans are only nine games into this experiment, and they are quickly learning that Zion can practically punish the rim whenever and however he wants.
