Kevin Andre Keatts (born July 28, 1972) is an American college basketball coach . He is the current men's head coach at North Carolina State University.

NC State vs. Duke ACC basketball game recap, Feb. 19, 2020. If it wasn’t clear when Markell Johnson made his first acrobatic layup, it might have been when three Duke players fought over a rebound and lost the ball out of bounds without an N . C . State player within 5 feet of the ball.

NC State bolstered their NCAA Tournament resume by pulling off a convincing upset over No. 6 Duke on Wednesday night in Raleigh. The Blue Devils were thoroughly overpowered as they fell to the tune of an 88-66 defeat. As expected, head coach Mike Krzyzewski was heated after the final buzzer sounded, and he showed a complete lack of class in his handshake with Wolfpack HC Kevin Keatts. He's now rightfully catching criticism.

That's pretty much indefensible from Coach K.

Krzyzewski obviously wasn't thrilled that his Blue Devils lost after ascending to the top of the ACC standings, but he couldn't even be bothered to congratulate Keatts on a pivotal win? That's standard protocol from coaches on the losing end of upsets in college basketball.

It's an unwritten rule, and for a guy Krzyzewski to show disrespect like this is unbecoming.

Duke's loss was historically bad, as it marked the first time in over four decades the Blue Devils lost by 20 or more as a top-10 team.

But you win plenty. Credit the underdog when it's called for.

Slow start, fast finish: Duke pays NC State back .
DURHAM, N.C. - Not much went right for Duke in the first half of its rematch with N.C. State on Monday night. Everything went right for the Blue Devils in the second half. Freshman wing Cassius Stanley led a second-half surge as Duke turned a tight game into an 88-69 home win over the Wolfpack. The Blue Devils (24-6, 14-5 ACC) missed 12 of their first 13 shots and threw the ball away often looking for long breaks as they got off to a slow start. They couldn’t get either of their All-ACC players going but reserve Justin Robinson (10 points) provided an unexpected spark and a switch to zone by coach Mike Krzyzewski helped turn a slow start into a satisfactory ending.
