There's an old expression that suggests those who can't play, teach, and those who can't teach, play, but apparently Rick Pitino does both.
The Louisville coach and two-time national champion put on a clinic in his men's league game Thursday, dropping a sweet no-look dime from the post.
Pitino also stole the show a couple nights ago, when he was literally coaching his teammates while playing.
Keep getting asked about Pitino's defense. It was solid, even dove for a ball w/ just over minute to play down 14 #Louisville #GoCards pic.twitter.com/PoGNjry33y
5-star wing Knox II is headed to Kentucky
Kentucky was just too much to pass-up for Tampa Catholic (Tampa, Fla.,) wing Kevin Knox II."It was a couple of different things with Kentucky," said Knox, who spoke exclusively with USA Today about his decision. "It was the coaching staff and the reputation for getting players to the league and then the players that we'll have coming in. I will get better every day and I'll practice in front of NBA scouts, but the most important factor for me was that I feel that going to Kentucky gives me the best chance to win.
