The Astros cheating scandal appears to still be the talk of the town (or Major League Baseball) and it might not go away any time soon. Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen shared his thoughts and opinions on the scandal in a recent column by Molly Knight of The Athletic and he isn’t too happy.

The Dodgers consider the perils of travel after many Miami Marlins test positive for COVID-19, and revenge over the Astros ' sign-stealing is secondary. As the Dodgers embark on their first trip of the season, ensuring the health and safety of their team has made every other story line feel so irrelevant.

That will not be the case for players going forward.Evan Drellich of The Athletic reported overnight that Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association have come to an agreement under which Rob Manfred would be empowered to impose sign-stealing punishment on individual players. Punishments will include suspension without pay and without accrual of service time, Drellich reports.
