Josh Robbins: Aaron Gordon is doubtful to return to tonight’s game because he has lower-back tightness , team officials said. The same issue caused him to miss much of the second half during the Magic ’s loss to the Warriors in Oakland. His absence in that game was critical.

Josh Robbins: The Magic have placed Aaron Gordon in the concussion protocol, a team official said. Gordon collided with Julius Randle during last night's game and experienced concussion symptoms after the game .

The Magic are already without their other starting forward in Jonathan Isaac, who tore his ACL in brutal fashion on Sunday. Gordon — who is averaging 14.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while leading the team in minutes per game — would be another big loss if he has to miss additional time.

The 32-36 Magic have a playoff spot all but locked up and are currently vying with the shorthanded Brooklyn Nets for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

It’s too early to say how severe this injury is, though hamstring issues often lead to fairly long absences. That would be an especially troubling development for a Yankees team whose offense is already shorthanded..It’s too early to say how severe this injury is, though hamstring issues often lead to fairly long absences. That would be an especially troubling development for a Yankees team whose offense is already shorthanded. Torres’ double-play partner, second baseman D.J.
