As the organizer announced, only the professional race for men, women and wheelchair athletes will be organized on a closed circuit in St. James Park in London. The result continues to apply to the Olympic qualification.
The already registered amateur runners can still complete the 26.2 miles for the 40th edition of the classic "at home or anywhere in the world on a course of their choice" within 24 hours of October 4th, announced the organizers. The time can be recorded using an app. All participants should continue to receive their participant medal. The race is scheduled to take place on October 3, 2021.
