Cerrone was taking on a fighter in Niko Price coming off a difficult loss to Vicente Luque in UFC 249 this past May. Something had to give here, right? Sadly the answer to that question was a no. After an all-out effort by the two welterweight contenders, the bout ended in a majority draw (29-27, 28-28, 28-28).

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC on ESPN+ 36 fighter weigh-ins, which kick off at noon ET (9 a.m. PT).

The weigh-ins take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.

Among those weighing in are former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington (15-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and ex-welterweight champ Tyron Woodley (19-5-1 MMA, 9-4-1 UFC), who meet in the main event.
