Foles entered the game with the Bears trailing 26-10 and was intercepted during his first drive after completing two of four pass attempts for 31 yards.

Trubisky completed 13 passes for 128 yards and one score before being sidelined. He started the first two weeks for the Bears, leading the team to a 2-0 record while throwing two touchdowns against two interceptions.

Foles arrived in Chicago this offseason following a trade after one campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He lost the position battle to Trubisky during training camp.

The Super Bowl LII MVP went 0-4 during his injury-plagued campaign with the Jaguars. He finished last year behind Gardner Minshew on Jacksonville's quarterback depth chart.

Mladenovic pins French meltdown on US Open lockdown, no-call .
PARIS (AP) — Kristina Mladenovic blamed her French Open meltdown on her U.S. Open lockdown — and she wasn’t too pleased about a no-call on a double bounce that helped her opponent avoid ceding the first set Wednesday, either. France’s Mladenovic lost 7-5, 6-3 in the first round at Roland Garros to Laura Siegemund, blowing a 5-1 lead in the opening set after holding a set point that she thought she converted with a drop shot.
