As the league announced on Wednesday evening, the disciplinary committee lacks sufficient information for allegedly discriminatory statements that are said to have fallen between Neymar and the opponent Alvaro.

Neymar saw the red card in the closing stages of the league game against Olympique Marseille on September 13 for hitting Gonzalez on the back of the head with his hand. After the game, Neymar had already been banned from the league's disciplinary committee for two games, for another probation.

Neymar had stated that the trigger for his disengagement were racist remarks. Alvaro and also Marseille coach André Villas-Boas had rejected the allegations after the game. Neymar apologized for his behavior after the incidents, but he renewed the racism allegations. "Racism and intolerance are not acceptable," wrote the Brazilian star striker on Instagram.

At the end of the game, Neymar was one of five players who had to leave the field because of a serious argument in stoppage time. Paris lost the game of the French championship 0-1.

A soccer player falsely accused of racially abusing Neymar says he got 2 million angry, threatening messages from Brazilian fans .
Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez accused by Neymar of calling him a "monkey" during a match in September, however was cleared of any wrongdoing. "Every night I go to bed and when I wake up the next morning, I have 20,000 WhatsApp messages," Gonzalez told Onda Cero. "I've had death threats and so have my parents." "To see photographs of my car being posted in social media scared me. I have not left the house in a month." Visit Insider's homepage for more stories.
