Free-agent safety Earl Thomas would love to play in Dallas. Unfortunately for him, the Cowboys are NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning that while the Cowboys made some Now twice the Cowboys have said no when they had the chance to sign the seven- time Pro Bowler.

Earl Thomas has made it no secret that he would like to play for the Dallas Cowboys , but it does Sources told Watkins that the Cowboys will not be interested in the six- time Pro Bowler at that price, just as they are unlikely to pursue any other high-priced safety like Landon Collins or Eric Weddle.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, the organization still has not reached out to safety Earl Thomas and has no plans to do so.

There was a bit of thinking that Dallas could double back in light of Leighton Vander Esch’s injury, even if the two players play different positions. At least right now, the answer appears to be no.

Despite a lot of rumors, the Cowboys haven’t pursued Thomas at any point since his release. It just doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

It was a trade that shocked the league, but the Browns would end up the clear winners after Richardson struggled with the Colts over two seasons. Richardson was cut after the 2014 season and never played another down in the NFL.
