SV Wehen Wiesbaden has to look for a new managing director. Thomas Proeckl is leaving his position at the end of the year.
"I had a wonderful time at SVWW with promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga as a very special highlight," said Prockl, who will only be managing director of the third division until the end of the year. When the age limit of 63 years defined in the SVWW's statutes has been reached, Prockl will leave office, as the association announced. Until then he will train his successor. The SVWW intends to announce soon who that will be.
Mike Tomlin: ‘No reaction’ to NFL coaches being fined for mask violations
With over $1 million in fines levied on head coaches and teams for Week 2 transgressions, the NFL is making it clear that there will be little leeway when it comes to COVID-19 protocols during games. That much should have been made clear with the memo the NFL issued ahead of Week 2. From the memo NFL executive Troy Vincent sent to clubs this morning about proper use of face coverings in the bench area: pic.twitter.com/AijmnBLlhM— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) September 14, 2020 It will be interesting to see if all head coaches heed the NFL’s explicit warnings in Week 3.
"Together with my managing director colleagues Nico Schäfer and Stefan Blöcher we have reorganized the SVWW, positioned the BRITA Arena as an event location and implemented the new construction of the west stand," is Proöckl, who has been in office since 2015, with his work in Wiesbaden very satisfied.
"Thomas took over the SVWW in a difficult situation and lived and managed the club with a lot of passion during his term of office," explained SVWW President Markus Hankammer. Wiesbaden will officially say goodbye to Proöckl at the general meeting in November and, after the success in the first round against Heidenheim (1-0), at the DFB Cup game in December (the opponent is not yet known).
