NFL reportedly discussing playoff bubble following coronavirus cases The NFL has already postponed one game and had players test positive for the coronavirus on multiple teams, which has led to talk of potentially needing a bubble plan going forward. That is still on the table, at least for the postseason. © Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports Discussions about playing games in a postseason bubble have picked up for the NFL internally, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. The most viable plan would involve the two conference championship games being played in a bubble.

The NFL trade deadline is fast approaching, with all 32 teams having until Nov. 3 to strike deals that can improve their rosters or add draft picks that can help build for the future. As we look ahead to the deadline , several teams could be busy over the next month.

Make sure all you guys let me know any other teams you think should be busy this trade deadline ! Thanks for watching and make sure to drop a like on the

The NFL trade deadline is closing with rumors already buzzing about potential players who could be available for contenders. As we look across the league, plenty of teams will have an opportunity to be buyers in the next few weeks.

While the COVID-19 pandemic creates a new hurdle for organizations to overcome before the trade deadline, it shouldn’t stop aggressive general managers from making deals. With the NFL Playoffs expanded this season, even more teams should be active before the Nov. 3 trade deadline.

As trade rumors buzz around the NFL, let’s examine five teams that should be buyers at the trade deadline.

New England Patriots

As detailed by The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, the Patriots have made an in-season trade every year since 2009. While rumors around the trade deadline generally don’t lead to much action, you can count on New England making something happen. In a year where the AFC East is up for grabs, Bill Belichick might have to make some moves.

Cam Newton is playing well, proving the Patriots know where to find value. One area this offense could improve is in the offensive weaponry surrounding QB1. Many will connect the dots to A.J. Green, but he looks done in Cincinnati. Instead, keep an eye on Carolina Panthers receiver Curtis Samuel or Houston Texans receivers Kenny Stills or Will Fuller. Adding speed to Josh McDaniels’ offense would be the missing ingredient and it would help Newton play even better.

Blockbuster moves we’d love to see before NFL trade deadline

Blockbuster moves we’d love to see before NFL trade deadline The 2020 NFL trade deadline is less than a month away. The common theme around the NFL right now is that said trade deadline will be more active than in the past. This is interesting given that recent years have seen a bevy of trade activity around Halloween. © Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports Is there a scenario where the Bengals would trade superstar wide receiver A.J. Green? A total of four teams find themselves without a win at the quarter pole of the season. Another six teams are undefeated. These are among those we expect to be most active.

Chicago Bears

The Bears seem to be playing over their heads with a 4-1 record and regression could come at any moment. However, head coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace are coaching for their jobs right now. Given everything at stake, it feels like the Bears have to make a move.

Chicago won’t find a better option available at quarterback, so the next target becomes upgrading the offensive line. The Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Football Team could all have upgrades available. Anything to help this running game and protect Foles could make the difference for an offense that desperately needs help.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo’s defense was supposed to be its greatest strength coming into the season. For whatever reason, this unit is falling short of expectations and it’s not particularly close. While there aren’t any big trade rumors coming out of Buffalo, the Bills’ needs are evident.

Five overrated NFL players who could be moved by trade deadline

Five overrated NFL players who could be moved by trade deadline Sometimes star players fall off a cliff and are no longer the marquee names they once were. Sometimes players are in a bad situation and might need a change of scenery to perform better. Le'Veon Bell is among the players who fall into the latter category.Father Time is undefeated. For many of the NFL’s biggest stars, years of fighting through injuries have taken a toll on their bodies. Unfortunately, for the likes of A.J. Green and Alshon Jeffery, this means their name recognition is greater than their on-field contributions.

Our SportsMoney contributors break down the trades these five teams should , or shouldn't, make—and why. First-year GM Brian Gutekunst hasn't been a stranger to trades : He's had DeShone Kizer and Antonio Morrison shipped to Green Bay.

And with the NFL 's deadline increasingly inspiring activity, there's no reason to believe we won't get at least one or two headlining moves this month. Zac Taylor should be looking to collect cap space and draft capital for a major makeover, so that means giving Buyers and sellers at NFL trade deadline .

In the next few weeks, general manager Brandon Beane must find a nickel cornerback. Los Angeles Chargers defensive back Desmond King, an All-Pro selection in 2018, seems like an ideal fit. If the Chargers’ price is too high, which seems unlikely for the pending free agent, New York Jets nickel corner Brian Poole is another solid option. If the Bills reinforce the secondary, this could be a Super Bowl contender.

Baltimore Ravens

We know this defense is very good, it even flashes the ability to be elite. However, we’re not seeing a unit capable of stepping up and shutting down great competition. Baltimore sends the blitz at the second-highest rate (44.5%) in the NFL this season, but it’s not even in the top-12 in knockdown rate (8.9%) or quarterback hurries (10.9). Simply put, the Ravens need more edge rushers.

Baltimore can call the Vikings about Yannick Ngakoue, who might become available as an impending free agent on a team at the bottom of the standings. If he isn’t available, Ryan Kerrigan could be an intriguing option as a rotational pass rusher. Heck, Baltimore has the cap space to swing a deal for J.J. Watt. No matter what happens, the Ravens need to be active at the trade deadline.

Texans’ Romeo Crennel: I'm not looking to trade players

Texans’ Romeo Crennel: I'm not looking to trade players The cellar-dwelling Texans revamped their sideline and front office in one fell swoop this year by firing head coach/GM Bill O’Brien. The trade rumors have been swirling for weeks.“Oh sure,” Crennel said when asked if the issue is a potential distraction. “With this situation, it might be more on their mind this year. I’ve talked to them and tried to reassure them that I’m not looking to trade guys.

Less than a week away from the NFL trade deadline , all 32 teams must contemplate buy and sell options. General manager Rick Spielman would likely look for depth at wide receiver or along the offensive line as a buyer . Those acquisitions could keep the sixth-ranked scoring offense rolling down

"The Aftermath" crew discuss potential trades they think should be made before the deadline . NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that Washington Football Team guard Brandon Scherff's injury is not as bad as originally thought.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints have to be buyers at the NFL trade deadline. Every move the organization made this offseason was to go all-in with the sole purpose of winning Super Bowl LV. With Drew Brees playing like a shell of his former self and new holes popping up on defense, it’s even more evident moves are necessary.

Right now, the rumor mill is quiet in New Orleans. That’s not a surprise given the team is enjoying its Week 6 bye, but it should change as the NFL trade deadline draws closer. The Saints need more pass rushers and the secondary could stand to improve with more depth at cornerback. Rentals will be the only option, but the Saints need to consider everything in the final year of their Super Bowl window.

Teams calling Texans about Will Fuller, Randall Cobb availability .
Fuller and Cobb represent half of Houston’s veteran receiving corps, which also includes 2020 trade acquisition Brandin Cooks and 2019 trade get Kenny Stills. Fuller, who is playing on a $10.16M fifth-year option salary, would bring far more value back to the Texans in a deal than a Cobb swap would. The then-Bill O’Brien-run Texans signed Cobb to a three-year, $27M deal in March. Shipping out the 30-year-old slot receiver would not bring especially notable compensation, and Wilson adds the Texans are not receiving strong offers for either player as of Wednesday afternoon.
