In abrupt reversal, Trump will now grant federal wildfire aid to California, governor says The state had planned to appeal an initial denial from the Trump administration and believed it had a strong case.  Earlier in the day, Newsom responded on Twitter to a New York Times report on the administration's "rare refusal" with a promise to appeal. © Ron Holman Firefighter Brandon Fino of Riverside works in the Cascadel Woods community east of North Fork on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Hatton posted the lowest competitive round at Shadow Creek , mainly because this is the first PGA Tour event at the prestigious club . Xander Schauffele birdied the par-5 18th for a 66 and was one shot behind, along with Russell Henley. Jon Rahm and Tyler Duncan were another shot behind.

Luckily, it appears there were no fans in the direction the club was helicoptering, so no one was hurt. The only thing hurting was Hatton 's pride. Nobody does that better than Hatton . Never forget when he made his caddie answer the question "have you seen a worse golf shot ?" at Bay Hill in March

Tyrrell Hatton is the gift that keeps on giving all year long.

The 29-year-old Englishman is well-known for his on-course antics (and no, we’re not talking about wearing a hoodie, that’s a discussion for another time).

For example, way back in March before the PGA Tour’s 13-week COVID-19 hiatus, Hatton hilariously blew up on the 11th hole at Bay Hill on Sunday of the Arnold Palmer Invitational with an outburst Happy Gilmore would’ve certainly applauded. After making a double bogey, Hatton used his putter as a pretend gun, fired off a pretend shot at the pond that consumed his drive, then flipped it off for good measure.

Hatton's hoodie, major breakthrough: golf talking points An Englishman's unusual apparel and a South Korean's long-awaited win feature in AFP Sport's golf talking points this week: - Fashion snobs dealt a blow - Tyrrell Hatton moved into the world's top 10 for the first time with a brilliant victory in the European Tour's flagship PGA Championship on Sunday, but had to spend much of the weekend defending his choice of clothing at a chilly Wentworth, near London. The hoodies he wore to keep warm in the autumnal weather divided golf fans on social media and sparked a debate about so-called traditional attire in the sport, often seen as a stuffy barrier to young people taking up the sport.

Tyrrell Hatton assesses his second-round 68 from the CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek .

THE CJ CUP @ SHADOW CREEK will once again feature a 78-man field comprising of the highest ranked player of Korean nationality from the Asian Tour Order of Merit, up to five players designated by the KPGA and the top-3 available players of Korean nationality from the Official World Golf Ranking

The five-time winner on the European Tour – including last week’s BMW PGA Championship – was at it again on Saturday at the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas with a club flip that would leave Major League Baseball players in awe.
