Exclusive: Ukraine Releases ‘Shock’ Call With Giuliani As Trump’s Second Impeachment Trial Begins Exclusive: Ukraine Releases ‘Shock’ Call With Giuliani As Trump’s Second Impeachment Trial BeginsThe 40-minute call, a transcript of which was obtained by TIME, provides the clearest picture yet of Giuliani’s attempts to pressure the Ukrainians on Trump’s behalf. The President’s personal lawyer toggled between veiled threats—“Be careful,” he warned repeatedly—and promises to help improve Ukraine’s relations with Trump. “My only motive—it isn’t to get anybody in trouble who doesn’t deserve to be in trouble,” Giuliani said. “For our country’s sake and your country’s sake, we [need to] get all these facts straight,” he added. “We fix them and we put it behind us.

Djenepo’s red card against Newcastle in March meant he was suspended for Southampton’s first three matches back following the coronavirus-enforced break in play. The Mali international was on the bench for Sunday’s superb 1-0 win against Manchester City, but Ralph Hasenhuttl has revealed he is “We have another injury with Moussa, which is not a coincidence for a player who has had a longer time off with a suspension,” the Saints boss said. “He’s had less training and games and sometimes this can lead to injuries during an intense programme like this. “We have a few injuries , but I cannot say how

Oriol Romeu and James Ward-Prowse have been reintegrated, the latter earning an England recall, while even Josh Sims and Sam Gallagher are getting minutes. Hasenhuttl seems happy to put faith in youth. "The young players are only thinking about what they can win and that can sometimes be an Even England boss Gareth Southgate was curious how he'd managed it. "He wanted to know what I did in the first three or four weeks and I told him that the most important part for me was working with videos of the players." There were double training sessions out on the grass but with time so limited

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is none-too-pleased with Leeds United’s physical attacks on his players in a 3-0 loss at Elland Road on Tuesday.

Oriol Romeu is the latest player to join Saints’ walking wounded.

Having made a goal-saving tackle earlier in the match, Romeu was felled by a hard foul on his ankle. He tried to play on but collapsed a few minutes later and was subbed off with the score still 1-0.

He is now a doubt for Southampton’s weekend trip to Everton, as Saints are also missing central midfielders Ibrahima Diallo and Will Smallbone.

Opinion: NBA dropped the ball on national anthem conversation

Opinion: NBA dropped the ball on national anthem conversation The NBA could have made a statement by allowing Dallas Mavericks to stop playing the national anthem. Instead, they courted even more controversy. That goes for Commissioner Adam Silver, who stumbled clumsily into the rage inferno on the national anthem issue Wednesday by publicly tsk-tsking the Dallas Mavericks the moment word got out that they hadn’t been playing it before games this season.

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl said Shane Long "deserved" his first goal in nine months as the Saints won at Leicester despite spending the entire second half with 10 men. I want to bring him back into this shape." James Ward-Prowse gave Southampton an early lead from the penalty spot after Long was bundled over in the area by Nampalys Mendy. Saints defender Yan Valery was then shown a second yellow card for a foul on Marc Albrighton before Long doubled their lead shortly before the break.

Where did it go ? To my mind there are three possibilities. The first is that it only seems like the flu has disappeared because doctors and scientists have been wrongly classing other respiratory diseases as Covid. The proponents of this theory have an explanation. They claim that people with Covid are more contagious than those with flu. It has a longer ‘incubation period’ than flu does , and its ‘R rate’ is three times higher than that of flu. But even if all of these estimates were right, there is still the unanswered question of why flu would have been eradicated so completely.

“We lose games (and) we lose players nearly every game with an injury,” Hasenhuttl said, via The Southampton Daily Echo. “It was not even a yellow card, I mean, I don’t want to discuss the referee but we are very nice at the moment.

“They can kick us. We get the yellow cards. They can hurt us and we are injured. This is the moment. So they are not very enjoyable performances we’ve shown.”

Saints commit the sixth-most fouls per game in the Premier League, about 0.8 more than Leeds, but they are also the seventh-most fouled team in the league. So Hasenhuttl’s men have been involved in a lot of scraps.

They also were called for two more fouls than Leeds on Tuesday, 13-11, but Hasenhuttl’s also probably near the end of his patience while waiting since Jan. 4 for a league win (Saints have won three FA Cup outings in that time).

Red and Yellow cards are used to communicate among a group of players and referees who none-of-which may speak a common language. For example, a Russian referee officiating a soccer game between Italy and Belgium.

Twelve players have missed more than four Southampton matches this season, including stars Danny Ings (five), Theo Walcott (five), Romeu (four), Diallo (five), Kyle Walker-Peters (four), and Jannik Vestergaard (seven).
