Leicester's Justin set to miss rest of season with knee injury
Leicester's James Justin is likely to miss the rest of the season after manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed on Friday the defender had suffered a serious knee injury. He was the only player to have played every minute in the Premier League for Rodgers so far this season. "Wherever I have asked him to play, and whatever position, he has been a minimum of eight out of 10 and has been developing as a top Premier League player," said Rodgers. The Foxes would go six points clear of Liverpool with victory over the defending champions at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
It is easy to forget that stars still love their former clubs after heading to new destinations.
West Ham United’s Tomas Soucek, for one, had been with Czech Republic side Slavia Prague since he was 10 years old before heading to London last January, where he pushed the Irons to Premier League safety last year and into the top-four discussion this season.
Slavia, of course, knocked Leicester City out of the Europa League on Thursday with a 2-0 second-leg win at the King Power Stadium, a truly surprising result even given the Foxes’ injuries.
West Ham – Sheffield United: How to watch, start time, odds, prediction
Sheffield United looks to continue its rebound from a historically-bad start to the season when they visit suddenly-uneven West Ham on Monday.Blades have handled a brutal run of scheduling fairly well after getting their first win of the season on Jan. 12 versus Newcastle, falling to Spurs, Man City, and Chelsea but mixing in defeats of Manchester United and West Brom.
Soucek, a Slavia club hero, was called by his former teammates on the pitch at the King Power Stadium after the match, an incident caught on video and shared by Slavia’s Twitter page.
“Before the game, Tomas told us that we were the better team and we would go through,” said match-winning scorer Lukas Provod. “He was online with us on FaceTime after the game in a Slavia shirt and celebrated with us.”

West Ham up to fourth as troubled Spurs crash again
West Ham moved into fourth in the Premier League with a 2-1 win against troubled Tottenham on Sunday that left their London rivals' top four bid in tatters. Jose Mourinho's side slumped to a fifth defeat in their last six league games as they paid the price for a sloppy defensive display at the London Stadium. Michail Antonio put West Ham in front early in the first half and Jesse Lingard doubled the hosts' advantage after the break. West Ham 2-1 Tottenham: Jose Mourinho claims he and coaching team are 'second to none' in wake of latest defeat
Spurs have lost five of their last six Premier League matches.Spurs dominated possession at the London Stadium but couldn't do much with the ball as the Hammers defended resolutely and took better advantage of their chances. The 25-year-old midfielder joined Slavia’s academy set-up in 2005 and made his first-team debut in 2015 after a year on loan in the second-tier.
Slavia helped him make his name as a star midfielder, and Soucek helped the club win the league twice and broke into the Czech national team where he’s earned 29 caps.
West Ham and Leicester play April 10 in London, and Leicester is currently four points ahead of the fourth-place Irons. Will Soucek join Slavia Prague in helping to thwart the Foxes’ season goals?at the King Power Stadium earlier this season.

Stones sends Man City 13 points clear
Manchester City moved 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League as John Stones sealed a 2-1 win against West Ham that made it 20 successive victories in all competitions for the leaders. Pep Guardiola's side are closing in on their third Premier League in four seasons thanks to priceless contributions from their in-form centre-backs. Ruben Dias, imperious since signing from Benfica in September, put City ahead with his first goal for the club.Michail Antonio equalised for West Ham just before half-time, but the revitalised Stones bagged the winner with a fine strike after the break.

Leicester hooked up to Burnley
© Provided by Sofoot Burnley 1-1 Leicester Goals: Vydra (4th) for Burnley // Iheanacho (34th) for Leicester To concede a goal in the fourth minute, what a funny idea. Yet this is what Leicester endured at Burnley on Matchday 29 of the Premier League, before all the same managing to avoid defeat. But this draw conceded by the Foxes , who wish to remain in the top 3, does not do their business since they could see the pack of pursuers getting closer.
