WGC-Workday Championship field by the rankings As the PGA Tour heads east to begin its Florida Swing this week at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, a top-level field is turning up. Only two of the top 20 players in the Golfweek/Sagarin Pro Rankings are absent this week: Russell Henley at No. 19…The entire WGC-Workday Championship field is broken down below according to the Golfweek/Sagarins and the OWGR.

- Matthew Wolff made a 26-foot putt from the fringe for an eagle on the final hole to win the 3M Open at 21 under par on Sunday, beating Collin Morikawa and Bryson DeChambeau by one stroke in a tense finish to the first-time PGA TOUR event . The 20-year-old Wolff struck his second shot on the 573-yard, par-5 hole from the fairway to the far left of the green where it landed just a few feet away from a bunker. He sank the dramatic putt in front of a packed 18th gallery at the TPC Twin Cities, before waiting to watch Morikawa just miss his eagle attempt from 22 feet.

But making WGC -Match Play picks is part of the fun. With March Madness on the mind, we're offering picks from Austin Country Club this week, where most of the world 's top players are teeing it up. We know Tiger's focus is always on the four majors—so to us, playing in the WGC -Match Play is likely more born out of not wanting to miss out on world -ranking points up for grabs in the third WGC event of the season. We don't think his motivation for advancing through the match-play bracket will be too high, thus, your money is likely better spent in other places.

Matthew Wolff has been a rising star on the PGA Tour ever since he turned professional back in 2019. He already has a win under his belt and his unique swing is something all golf fans know about by now.

But he showed us all on Thursday that golf is still a very hard game even if you are really good at golf, as he shot an 11-over 83 in the first round of the World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession.

A few hours after the first round ended it was announced that he withdrew from the event, which doesn’t have a cut like normal Tour events. That means Wolff will still make the $32K that goes to the last place finisher, which must be nice.

President Trump even warned months before the election that the only way Republicans could lose was in a rigged election. The Supreme Court is still scheduled to decide on the illegal moves by Pennsylvania officials before the 2020 election. The alliance of Trump-haters was even behind the illegal moves by far-left swing state officials to change voter laws without consent of the state legislatures.

Mr Wolff ’s follow up to his bestselling book on Donald Trump’s presidency, Fire and Fury, purportedly includes an inside look at the president’s behaviour as the the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller embroiled the administration in an ongoing scandal. But, while that investigation threatened the presidency, the book includes other interesting details about the way in which Mr Trump, according to Mr Wolff , has a rare respect for Ms Haley. But, he nevertheless bragged about a sexual relationship with her, and set off a series of professional embarrassments for himself, according to the book.

Before he withdrew, Wolff made this mistake while practicing his putting stroke on his 15th hole of the day:

Yikes.

I mean, that’s a mistake you’d see one of us weekend hackers make, not some pro who is currently ranked 19th in the world.

Wolff wasn’t penalized for that mistake because or a new rule that makes it OK if you strike your ball by accident while on the green.

It was a wild round for Wolff:

That led to this:

You gotta love golf.
