UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals 2020-2021: Who would be the best possible draw for Bayern Munich?
Part 1 in our series covers the best outcomes for Bayern in the Champions League draw on Friday. That has been the story of Bayern’s season so far. The Bavarians have been just slightly below last season’s incredibly high standards, conceding more this season and having to fight back in many games from deficits, although the fact that Bayern came back from two goal deficits in multiple games shows that that the mental fortitude to go all the way is still there.

Five reasons why PSG is a good Champions League quarterfinal draw for Bayern Munich
In a repeat of last season’s UCL final tie, Bayern will be facing the strong French side, albeit in the quarterfinals this time. Could facing them this early be a blessing in disguise?PSG’s coach, Pochettino, has some scores of his own that he will be looking to settle with Bayern, the side that eventually cost him his job after a 7-2 drubbing of the coach’s former club Tottenham Hotspurs, in London. So, Bayern will be facing a top team with both the players and the coach having a chip on their shoulder and some scores to settle.

Bayern Munich are back in the Quarterfinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions. The Bavarians will be going up against the 2020 Damallsvenskan runners-up FC Rosengård.
Bayern dispatched Ajax and BIIK Kazygurt to get to this point, while Rosengård went through Lanchkhuti and St. Pölten. Jens Scheuer’s team had the more difficult route to the Quarterfinals, but you can’t take anything for granted at this stage of the competition.
In last year’s truncated one-legged (thanks to COVID), Bayern were bounced in the same round by eventual champions (and, now, winners of FIVE UWCLs in a row). This year, the Bavarians look like they’re going to be a tougher out than last year. For Rosengård, this is the farthest that they’ve gone in the UWCL since the 2016/17 season.
