We've all spent years watching and cringing when Charles Barkley hits a golf ball.

The poor Basketball Hall of Famer has perhaps the most documented and well-known case of the golf yips among pro athletes. It was so bad he'd stop mid-swing and still somehow continue after pausing. Here is a compilation:

But thanks to Golf.com, we have visual proof that his swing - while it isn't exactly what you'd put on an instructional video - is so much better:

Will you look at that! The site's Jeff Ritter watched the Turner analyst play and reported this from the American Century Championship:

I watched Sir Charles play two holes. He took a quick-but-fluid hack on the par-3 17th, which runs along the beach, and his shot settled just short of the green. On the par-5 18th, he pulled driver and flashed a small hitch in his downswing, but one that was far less jarring than some of the Barkley horror films you'll find on YouTube.
