  Report: Dodgers 'looking hard' at Britton, Wilson, Hand The Los Angeles Dodgers own the best record in baseball, but it appears that's not good enough. L.A. is "looking hard" at the left-handed relief market, and has Zach Britton, Justin Wilson, and Brad Hand on its radar, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

Zach Britton has appeared in four games since returning from injury. According to Buck Showalter , the time is nearing where Britton can return to closing . Zach Britton is " close to being capable of [ closing ] again ," Showalter said.

Britton is the Orioles’ closer , but more than that, he’s their stopper. Showalter was barely back in the dugout. Buck is an old-school guy, and while he didn’t go full mea culpa after the game when he was asked if he regretted not pitching Britton , he did say, "You do afterwards."

Baltimore Orioles reliever Zach Britton has appeared in four games since returning from injury. According to manager Buck Showalter, the time is nearing where Britton can return to his closing job.

Each of Britton’s four outings back have been one inning long. In those four innings, he’s allowed two earned runs on five hits in one walk. It is worth noting that both of the runs and three of the hits came in one outing.

Britton’s return to his regular job is certainly good news for the Orioles. He’s been nothing short of dominant throughout his career and locked down 120 saves from 2014-2016.

His return will also help bolster his value for a potential trade. Britton has been linked to a few teams, including the Dodgers, which has Kenley Jansen excited.
