to the same several visits in the botany of the Autromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari, Carlos Sainz had a pretty thick Neck on yourself. "How many mistakes happen to me?" The Spaniard raved in boxing radio. His racing engineer Riccardo Adami, however, found the right words: "You're just too fast. Calm down." This enumeration showed effect.
After an, Sainz finished a good fifth place after the day before he had failed with his Ferrari at the hurdle to Q3. In the finish, the 26-year-old landed directly behind his teammate Charles Leclerc. "If you take everything together, the fifth place is a good result," says Sainz.
How the 1st US city to fund reparations for Black residents is making amends
Monetary reparations in Evanston, Ilinois, will be distributed this year in increments of up to $25,000 per eligible resident to use for housing. The discussion on reparations has been ongoing -- and controversial -- in the U.S. since slavery was abolished in 1865. Originally, reparations were proposed to make amends for slavery, which built the nation's wealth -- but excluded Black Americans from it. Reparations first arose as a promise, in early 1865, to redistribute land in the southeast U.S. to formerly enslaved people. For decades, the promise is often invoked in the phrase, "40 acres and a mule.
For the successor of Sebastian Vettel it was the first time in the rain at the wheel of a Ferraris. "So I had to find out a lot, but this time I decided to take more risk. In Bahrain I took it calmer, but today in the wet I wanted to catch up a few places," says Sainz.
Sainz struggles with the Bremsbalance
This succeeded in a turbulent initial phase directly. "I risked because I had little view and could overtake three or four cars," he says. The strategy has also paid off completely. At the middle of the race, however, a few problems began, which culminated in several rides.
"I was hard to find the right brake balance for each curve and get the right feeling with the brake pedal," says Sainz. His pure speed on this day, however, has compensated. "I've missed some curves, which cost me a lot of race time. Nonetheless, I was so fast that I could catch up again," he explains.

The attack mode at Sainz was activated. "Today was the day we wanted to attack after it did not go so well yesterday. And we were actually attacking today," he cheered.
Sainz: McLaren was on the line too fast
in the second half of the race, after restarting the race due to the heavy accident between Valtteri Bottas and George Russell, it came to the traction between Sainz, Leclerc and McLaren-Pilot Lando Norris. At his softer tire, Norris passed past Leclerc and sat down before the Ferraris could catch up in the course of the laps.
"The most difficult decision was what tire you take after the red flag. We have seen McLaren's risk with the softer tire and then also had blistering. But at your top speed does not matter," explains Sainz.
In fact, Leclerc was several times in the DRS window near Norris, but found no way over. "It was impossible for us to overtake you. For Charles and for me, we still do not get ran on the straight line. In the dry the car was good, but we still miss something," says Sainz.
Sainz wishes more Topspeed
, however, has also had to do with the set-up, not alone with the engine power. "From Friday to Saturday, we have leveraged more output and lost topspeed. But they have gained. But we are still generating less output than they and they are faster on the straight line. There are still some homework to do, there are still some things to do Learn, "says Sainz.
However, it seems more and more to crystallize that Ferrari and McLaren provide a duel to the position as a third or fourth force in the field. Leclerc in four and Norris' teammate Daniel Ricciardo ranked six solidified this impression. "It will be moved from route. I just wished we would have a few horsepower more to challenge her on the straight," says Sainz.
