MLB updates COVID protocols for vaccinated players, staff

Fedde, who had been fully vaccinated and was asymptomatic, was forced to go on the injured list. (Between his initial isolation period and subsequent rehab, he ultimately missed just more than three weeks of action.

The Portal And The Importer

Arkansas Head Coach Eric Musselman has been deemed “The Importer” by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. Rothstein is known for his tweets that almost seemed scheduled after an Arkansas win.

The Arkansas staff contacted 70 transfers last recruiting cycle and that’s just the ones that were reported.

Each week I will update this with the new contacts Arkansas has made in the portal. Plus, updates on commitments and cut lists.

Something to remember about the transfer portal. Just because Arkansas has contacted a player doesn’t mean they are a top priority. If there’s anything we have learned about this staff is they are thorough. It is realistic to think that they have a list of their top priorities and then backups.

NCAA baseball tournament 2021: Full regionals bracket, TV schedule for Road to College World Series Here's a complete guide to the 2021 NCAA baseball tournament, including a full TV schedule and bracket for regionals as 64 teams try to reach the College World Series. The conference championships have wrapped up across the nation and the top 16 teams have been selected by the NCAA. Now, those 64 teams will compete in the regionals hoping for a chance to move on to the super regionals and a spot in Omaha for the first time in two years.

Another thing to remember is just because Arkansas makes a cut list for a recruit means they would take them. Recruits often add top programs to their cut lists for notoriety.

Things have really slowed down to in the portal for Arkansas. Obviously, they added Trey Wade on Tuesday, but with new contacts it is quiet.

There are still a few contacts that Arkansas has made that have not committed. So here is an update on who has committed elsewhere and who is still available.

Updated Commitments and Cut Lists

Greg Lee committed to Penn St.

Jacob Young committed to Oregon.

Dusan Mahorcic committed to Utah.

Marvin Johnson committed to Oklahoma.

Bryce Hamilton elected to return to UNLV.

Opinion: The NFL needs to use Juneteenth to examine its race-norming past .
The NFL celebrates Juneteenth but the league should do is use this day to reflect on why it used race-norming against its Black players. In a memo to all teams that was destined to be leaked to the media, Goodell, in part, wrote: "This year, as we work together as a family and in our communities to combat the racial injustices that remain deeply rooted into the fabric of our society, the NFL will observe Juneteenth on Friday, June 19th as a recognized holiday and our league offices will be closed. It is a day to reflect on our past, but more importantly, consider how each one of us can continue to show up and band together to work toward a better future.
