The Olympic Games represent the single largest sporting event in the world, and NBCUniversal took great pains to capture as much of it as possible, presenting more than 7,000 hours' worth of coverage for the event. Because of the sheer volume, NBCUniversal must split its coverage across its family of networks, including NBC, NBC Sports, Olympic Channel, CNBC, USA and Golf Channel. That's to say nothing of the streaming options available, either.
