The WFT is also adding Kyle Shurmur, son of Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur, to round out the depth chart in a move corresponding to Fitzpatrick's stint on IR. Undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2019, Kyle Shurmur has spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals but has not played in a regular-season game.
