If you didn't watch the first Monday Night Football game of the season, you missed an instant classic between two teams who seemed to have zero interest in winning.

The Raiders and the Ravens both tried to give the game away at every turn. It might have been heartstopping for fans of either team, but neutrals got quite the show.

The Raiders and the Ravens played a wild Monday Night Football classic

The drama started in the final seconds as Las Vegas tied the game on a 55-yard field goal. From there, things just got crazier and crazier.

First, it looked like Vegas had won it on a huge third-down conversion that was initially ruled a touchdown.

However, Bryan Edwards was ruled down before the goal line and the officials had to clear the field to get the game going again.

Narrator voice: They could not as Carr threw an interception.

The funniest part of it was how the Raiders thought they'd won the game just before.

The craziest part was that the Raiders won anyways thanks to a Lamar Jackson fumble.

The game was just bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. So it was fitting that instead of a simple field goal, the game ended on a wide-open touchdown pass.

To recap: Las Vegas won, then they didn't. Then they choked, but the Ravens choked harder.

It's going to be hard for future Monday night showdowns to match the excitement of that one. What a way to end the first week of NFL action for 2021. You literally couldn't have scripted it.
