Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson injured the middle finger of his throwing hand during the third quarter of Thursday night's 26-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field.
Wilson hit the arm of the Rams' All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald on the follow-through on an incomplete deep throw to receiver Tyler Lockett on a second-and-14 play. He was back on the field for the next play, on which the Seahawks ran the ball with Travis Homer.

Wilson returned for the next series, which resulted in a three and out. Geno Smith replaced Wilson - who did not return to the game - for the Seahawks' first series of the fourth quarter and led a 98-yard touchdown drive.
