Don't Stop Believing: David Chase returns to 'The Sopranos'

Don't Stop Believing: David Chase returns to 'The Sopranos' NEW YORK (AP) — Destiny hangs over the characters of the “Sopranos” prequel “The Many Saints of Newark,” but none more so than its creator. David Chase revolutionized television with his monumental mob opera led by James Gandolfini’s Tony Soprano, ushering in a new era of ambition on the small screen. But what Chase has really always wanted to do is make movies. “That was my whole goal. It’s been that way my whole life,” says Chase, who nevertheless spent his career in TV (“The Rockford Files,” “I’ll Fly Away”) before creating “The Sopranos.” “Film, cinema. Film, cinema.” “There’s something about TV that will always for me have this kind of cheesy image,” he continues.

The Jags are believed to be open to moving last year’s No. 9 overall pick, and Pro Football Focus’ Doug Kyed adds that Jacksonville’s new Urban Meyer-led regime is not as high on the Florida alum (Twitter link). Interestingly, the Saints did acquire multiple corners — in third-rounder Paulson Adebo and veteran slot defender Brian Poole — this year. Adding Henderson or someone else on this level would certainly change the equation for the reigning NFC South champs, who made efforts to trade up for Jaycee

New Orleans Saints have interest in trading for cornerback C . J . Henderson . Though the Saints have won the NFC South division title each of the last four years, they are not favored to do so in 2021. That is because the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers call the NFC South home as well. With the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers potentially trending upward, the Saints are a major regression candidate in the NFC this season. So should the Saints trade for Henderson ? That all really depends on what they would have to give up to Jacksonville in order to get him.

After their efforts to trade up for a cornerback in the first round failed, the Saints are trying another upgrade avenue months later. They are exploring trade options at corner, Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com tweets.
