NFL DFS expert Sloan Piva from RotoQL breaks down the top values and sleeper picks for your Week 6 DraftKings and FanDuel lineups . Most fantasy football enthusiasts probably don’t realize that Fitzpatrick ranks sixth in the NFL this season in total fantasy points by a quarterback. Since a tough Week 1 loss to the Patriots, Fitzmagic has posted at least 24 fantasy points each week. His 30.6 points last weekend at San Francisco represented his best output of the season, and the most by any Week 5 quarterback not named Patrick Mahomes.

The weeks off start at week 6 , which means the NFL DFS slates will be a bit thinner than usual. There are four teams in week 6 and when you factor in the eight teams playing in standalone games, there are only 10 games and 20 teams to choose from players on the main DraftKings and FanDuel rosters. . The condensed player pool will make stacking an even better strategy to use in fantasy football tournaments and daily cash games as it can increase your roster cap. You generally want to look to pair a quarterback with a receiver or a tight end when stacking.

With another wild week of NFL action in the books, it’s already time for us to pick our favorite sleepers and value picks for Week 6 DFS contests. As Bill Belichick would say, “no days off!” Just like Tuesdays are for waivers in year-long fantasy redraft leagues, in daily fantasy football, Tuesdays are for finding early value in the DraftKings and FanDuel player pools.

MORE WEEK 6 DFS: Best stacks | Lineup Builder

If you read this column ahead of Week 5, you would have benefited from our advice to plug a plethora of low-cost, high-value players into your DFS lineups. Here’s a short list of some of our hits from last week, including each player’s DraftKings cost and final PPR output:

  • QB Jameis Winston, Saints at Washington (DK: $5,600 | FD: $7,000): 33.76
  • RB Chuba Hubbard, Panthers vs. Eagles (DK: $6,000 | FD: $6,700): 18.4
  • RB Damien Williams, Bears at Raiders (DK: $5,600 | FD: $5,800): 16.4
  • WR Hunter Renfrow, Raiders vs. Bears (DK: $4,900 | FD: $5,800): 11.6
  • TE Dalton Schultz, Cowboys vs. Giants (DK: $4,400 | FD: $6,200): 13.9

If you used any of these cost-efficient selections last week, you would have benefited from good, cheap production while also affording yourself an extra stud or two elsewhere. Getting the most bang for your buck has always been the name of the game in DFS, so it’s important to do your due diligence before constructing lineups. Leave the deep-diving to us -- we are here for you from the first kickoff through the last play of the 2021 NFL season.

The Texans allowed teams to average 29 points/game last season ( sixth most in the NFL ), and in road games they allowed QBs to pass for an average of two TDs (eighth most).

The beauty of daily fantasy football sites like DraftKings , FanDuel , and Yahoo is that no matter your record, you can start anew in Week 13 and be a winner -- that is, as long as you build your lineups with the right balance of weekly studs and under-the-radar value players and sleepers . NFL DFS Picks Week 6: QB sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel

Kirk Cousins, Vikings at Panthers (DK: $6,200 | FD: $7,100)

Cousins and the Vikes are 2-3, but they’ve really been much better than that record suggests. Cousins has a 69.6-percent completion rate, 1,396 passing yards, 10 TDs, and just two interceptions. While Carolina has been good defensively, it has also played a lot of bad offenses (Jets, Saints, Texans, and Eagles, stand up). In the one week the Panthers squared off against a legit offense, Dallas won 36-28 and Dak Prescott tossed four touchdowns. I’ll take Cousins with his highly effective receiver tandem of Justin Jefferson of Adam Thielen. Bonus points if elite running back Dalvin Cook returns from his ankle injury.

But both may have heavy legs early on as immediately after winning their first NBA championships, they then headed to Tokyo and won their first Olympic gold medals.

Let's break down our top Week 7 DFS value plays

Mac Jones, Patriots vs. Cowboys (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,500)

Jones has been pretty impressive through five games as a pro, but it hasn’t exactly translated to the world of fantasy football. I think that changes this week at home against a Cowboys squad that ranks 26th in fantasy points surrendered to QBs. Jones is crisp, efficient, and poised in the pocket. The Pats will need to score a bunch to keep up with a high-octane Dallas offense, and lead running back Damien Harris (chest) is a little banged up. I’ll take 20 points for $5,200.

Carson Wentz, Colts vs. Texans (DK price: $5,400 | FD: $6,700)

Wentz and the Indy offense woke up a bit on Monday Night Football, even leading the Ravens 22-3 at one point. Of course, that all went down the pooper when Baltimore caught up to win 31-25 in overtime. It’s still quite encouraging to see Wentz playing with confidence in his new digs. Second-year wideout Michael Pittman Jr. is a massive talent, and second-year back Jonathan Taylor is a dual-threat stud out of the backfield. Wentz has plenty of options, and they should prosper against the lowly Texans.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:

Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

NFL DFS Picks Week 6: RB sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel

Damien Williams, Bears vs. Packers (DK: $5,800 | FD: $6,500)

Williams filled in admirably for the injured David Montgomery (knee) over the weekend, turning 16 carries into 65 yards and a score and adding 20 yards on two catches. He will need to continue being involved in the Bears’ offense this weekend against the Packers in a game where Chicago has an implied point total of 20. Bengals backs Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon just combined for 92 yards and a score on 21 totes against the Pack, and a week prior Pittsburgh rookie Najee Harris had 15 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown. I’ll take Damien the Conqueror at these prices.

Latavius Murray, Ravens vs. Chargers (DK: $5,700 | FD: $5,800)

Murray has been John Harbaugh’s clear top choice at RB1 the past few weeks, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at the veteran’s stat line in Baltimore’s come-from-behind Monday night game. Fret not, as that was mostly due to game script and a few bad offensive breaks. If Lamar Jackson hands Murray the ball at the goal line in the third quarter, instead of sneaking and fumbling, Murray would have had over 11 points instead of five. The Chargers rank 23rd in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to backs, so I like his chances at rebounding from the dud.

Devontae Booker, Giants vs. Rams (DK: $5,400 | FD: $5,900)

Booker will be the top waiver add of the week in most season-long formats after Saquon Barkley rolled his ankle into the size of a softball last week. Normally, I wouldn’t advise starting a running back against the Rams, but Booker can inflict damage via the pass, as well. In PPR formats, LA ranks just 19th against RBs. Hit the Books in a big-opportunity game.

WEEK 6 STANDARD RANKINGS:

Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

NFL DFS Picks Week 6: WR sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel

Robert Woods, Rams at Giants (DK: $6,100 | FD: $6,900)

Bobby Trees is very enticing after his first big game in the 2021 campaign. Maybe he finally showed up to breakfast with QB Matthew Stafford and fellow wideout Cooper Kupp? Whatever the case, 12-for-14 for 150 yards is quite the market correction. The Giants have a very talented cornerback tandem, but they still rank 18th overall in fantasy points surrendered to wide receivers. With New York banged up and LA highly motivated to grab a "W" to remain around the top of the NFC West, Woods could put up 15-30 points again this weekend.

Jakobi Meyers, Patriots vs. Cowboys (DK: $5,500 | FD: $5,800)

My friends hate that I stand by Meyers, but I still say he’s a talented wideout with a great opportunity as the WR1 in a young, upstart offense. He struggled a bit with drops Sunday against Houston, but I think he bounces back nicely at home against a Cowboys defense ranking 29th in fantasy points allowed to receivers. I’ll take the high PPR upside at $5,500.

Tee Higgins, Bengals at Lions (DK: $5,300 | FD: $6.400)

Higgins had a rather pedestrian line against Green Bay over the weekend, his first game back from a two-week absence with a shoulder injury. With one more week under of recovery under his belt and against the abysmal Lions, I think Higgins has a breakout game. He caught five-of-seven targets last weekend, but they were all underneath and medium-range shots. At $5,300, I’m willing to bet he can open the field a bit this time around.

NFL DFS Picks Week 6: TE sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel

Mark Andrews, Ravens vs. Chargers (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,300)

Andrews had a mammoth performance in the Ravens’ big comeback over the Colts on Monday Night Football, putting up 41.7 PPR points. Now he gets a home matchup with the Chargers, who yield the third-most PPR points to the tight end position this season (second most in half-PPR formats). The Lamar Jackson connection with Andrews and downfield-receiver Marquise Brown seems to be revitalized, so look out, world.

Hunter Henry, Patriots vs. Cowboys (DK: $3,900 | FD: $5,600)

In Week 5 against the Texans, Henry finally looked like he was worth that big contract Bill Belichick threw at him this spring. The burly tight end caught six passes on eight targets for 75 yards and a score, good for 19.5 PPR points at just a $3,700 cost. He jumped up just $200 this week, so he’s a great value in a game with an over/under of 49 (with an implied New England total of 22-plus points). Dallas ranks 25th in fantasy points allowed to tight ends this season.

NFL DFS Picks Week 6: D/ST sleepers, values for DraftKings, FanDuel

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans (DK: $3,500 | FD: $4,700)

The Colts defense looked strong against Baltimore for nearly three frames on Monday, but then the Lamar Jackson flood gates opened and the Ravens went on a 28-3 scoring run for the comeback win. Don’t expect the same level of heroics from Davis Mills and the Texans this weekend. The Colts are a high-upside play at $3,500.
