LSU football lifts COVID-19 entrance protocols

LSU football lifts COVID-19 entrance protocols Practically all virus-related restrictions for attending games are eliminated. Fans under the age of 12 no longer have to wear masks in outdoor spaces, but guests must still wear face coverings in the indoor portions of Tiger Stadium. "This is amazing progress," Dr. O’Neal added. "But the game is not over. This virus will surge again, and Louisiana must be prepared before it arrives yet again by getting vaccinated. The vaccines we have are safe and effective, and getting vaccinated is our best shot at defeating COVID-19."LSU says coronavirus hospitalizations in Louisiana have decreased by 80% over the past seven weeks.

Tennessee Volunteers fan Jamie Beckler has the perfect way to help his late father root for the Vols after he passed away in 2008. The younger Beckler paints his dad’s gravesite with the Tennessee checkerboard design before big games, and he says he’s been doing it since Ricky Beckler died after a battle with pancreatic cancer in 2008: “Hope he’s watching down and rooting for them, especially this season,” Beckler told WATE. “He’s got that little grin on his face he had, probably humming Rocky Top too.”. Saturday night's game between the Tennessee Volunteers and No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels had it all. From Lane Kiffin waving hello to booing fans at Neyland Stadium, to the now viral video of a man's meme-worthy reaction to a fumble recovery touchdown that wasn't.

But when it comes to who is the most diehard Volunteers fan in the stadium, this one man has got everyone beat with his checkerboard beard.

Tennessee fan shows off his checkerboard beard during Saturday's game against Ole Miss

You have to admire that fan's dedication. Imagine the amount of time it took for him to get the beard to look like that? Simply put, it took serious commitment to pull this off.

That fan was obviously celebrating what was taking place during what turned out to be an insane game. Tennessee entered the halftime trailing 24-12 but kept pace as the Rebels continuously put points on the board.

Tennessee had upset on their minds entering this weekend, with a victory all but clinching a tumble down the AP Top 25 rankings for Ole Miss. And for this fan, he wanted to take in this game in person while donning a checkerboard beard that matched the end zones of Neyland Stadium.
