Chelsea Handler Shares Her Love Story with Boyfriend Jo Koy: 'I Just Feel So Completely Safe'

Chelsea Handler Shares Her Love Story with Boyfriend Jo Koy: 'I Just Feel So Completely Safe' Chelsea Handler and fellow comedian Jo Koy have known each other for years, but recently fell for each other romantically Because of their work schedules and quarantine rules, they went without seeing each other for about four months, Handler said. "The minute we were both back in LA, we were like, 'let's go to dinner,' " Koy said. From there, they started spending a ton of time together and things progressed "organically," according to Handler.

Before last night’s game, Malmö FF manager and Danish footballing legend Jon Dahl Tomasson sang the praises of Chelsea center back Andreas Christensen, revealing how the 25-year-old has become a national hero back home thanks to his performances under Thomas Tuchel as well as on the international stage with Euro 2020 semifinalists Denmark.

“Andreas Christensen is one of the best defenders around [and] making the grade in the Premier League. He’s had a great journey and has done tremendously well.

“The way he’s playing and the way he’s been playing here under the new manager, he’s been a great inspiration for a lot of Danish people.”

Chelsea Handler Has 'Hope' for Others After Falling in Love with 'Best Buddy' Jo Koy

Chelsea Handler Has 'Hope' for Others After Falling in Love with 'Best Buddy' Jo Koy Chelsea Handler and fellow comedian Jo Koy have been friends for years, but recently fell for each other romantically The couple was spotted getting cozy in August at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game, where Koy threw out the first pitch. "She told me how to throw it, she was my coach that day," he later told TMZ. "How beautiful did she look that day?" "Me and Chelsea, yeah, she's amazing," Koy added. "I've known Chelsea for a long, long time — I mean a long time, like years ago — and we've always been great friends.

| NEW: Andreas Christensen has scored his first goal for Chelsea on his 137th appearance for the club.

● Andreas Christensen scored his first ever goal for Chelsea in what was his 137 th competitive appearance for the club. ● Jorginho has scored 17 of the 20 penalties he has taken for Chelsea (excl. shootouts), including each of the last six in a row. Tonight was the third time he has scored two penalties in a single game for the Blues, two of which have been in the Champions League (also v Ajax in Nov 2019). ● Aged 37 years and 28 days, Thiago Silva was the second-oldest player to assist a goal for an English club in UEFA Champions League history , after only Ryan Giggs (39y 363d).

Nice to see the good people of Denmark recognize their Clean Sheet King — now with 42 (!!) of them in his last 52 appearances for club and country. No, that’s not a typo. 42 in 52. Absolutely ridiculous.

But last night was also notable for something much more rare — something that in fact had never happened before. Andreas Christensen finally scored a senior competitive Chelsea goal! At long last!

We’ve always said he’d never go 137 games without scoring!

While that makes Christensen the 742nd different goalscorer in club history, is he also the player — not including goalkeepers, obviously — who has gone the longest before scoring his first goal for the club?

I could not find an answer to this question, so I did some research. I didn’t quite look at all 150 or so players who have made more appearances than Christensen in their Chelsea careers, but I did check with the most likely candidates to have gone longer.

And it would appear that Christensen is indeed the player who has gone longest before scoring his first senior competitive Chelsea goal. Even those who were famous for rarely scoring (Barber, Mikel, Makélélé, Hinton, Pates, etc.) had all found the back of the net much, much sooner from the start.

Fun fact: the non-goalkeeper with the most games without ever scoring is George W. Smith, a full back in the 1920s, who’s 19th on the all-time appearances list with 370, and managed a grand total of zero goals. Incidentally, the 1920s also saw the only goalkeeper to have ever scored for Chelsea, a man named Ben Howard Baker — from the penalty spot.

Chelsea vs. Norwich City odds, predictions: Soccer expert reveals Premier League picks for Saturday, Oct. 23 Martin Green has locked in his English Premier League picks and best bets for Norwich City vs. ChelseaMONACO - NOVEMBER 21: Timo Werner of RB Leipzig celebrates scoring his sides second goal during the UEFA Champions League group G match between AS Monaco and RB Leipzig at Stade Louis II on November 21, 2017 in Monaco, Monaco.

Jorginho scored two penalties, with Andreas Christensen and Kai Havertz getting the other goals . The only downside was first -half injuries to Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner. Jorginho scores his second penalty of the night. It was almost identical to the first - no pause, just a nonchalant sweep down the middle as the keeper dives to the left. Chelsea ’s Jorginho (left) celebrates scoring their fourth goal with Ben Chilwell in front of the jubilant Chelsea fans.

Report as Jorginho's double, Andreas Christensen 's first Chelsea goal and Kai Havertz's smart finish give Chelsea a 4-0 victory over Malmo in Champions League Group H; Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are both injured for the hosts. Image: Jorginho's goals were his first for Chelsea this season. Ironically the striker's punishment was worse than the perpetrator's with Lukaku forced off minutes later while Nielsen escaped with a yellow card. The Belgian did stay on long enough to watch Jorginho bury the spot-kick past Johan Dahlin, before hobbling over to the sidelines and down the tunnel.

In any case, for further trivia, here are the players I looked at (thanks largely to the ever-useful and wonderful Chelsea: The Complete Record book, and also Wikipedia and Transfermarkt):

  1. Andreas Christensen (137 games)
  2. Claude Makélélé (94 games)
  3. Jack Harrow (scored twice in 1919-20 season; about 88 games)
