Ben Simmons trade rumors: Best potential destinations, offers for 76ers star

Ben Simmons trade rumors: Best potential destinations, offers for 76ers star It doesn't appear as though a trade is coming soon, but there are a few teams that could make a move for the three-time All-Star.On opening day of the 2021-22 season, news broke that 76ers coach Doc Rivers had thrown the three-time All-Star out of practice and that Simmons had been suspended for Philadelphia's season opener against New Orleans. What happened? ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Simmons "declined several times to sub into a drill," adding that his "reluctance to physically and mentally engage" with the 76ers has been a consistent theme since he has returned to the team.

How the Blazers Ate the Suns and Brought Life to the Season

How the Blazers Ate the Suns and Brought Life to the Season Portland had been in the dumps until an encounter with the Suns showed them the light. For most of this game, Portland ran their offense double-time. It looked much better. From training camp until this game, we’ve basically seen the Blazers set one significant screen per play, make one pass, then take a shot. It’s like they were practicing the remedial version of their schemes. Tonight they threw it into overdrive, setting multiple screens and making extra passes. This was enabled by (gasp!) more than just one or two players moving on offensive sets. The result was much less kindergarten, much more carnival ride.

Three reasons why Lakers can't trade for Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard

Three reasons why Lakers can't trade for Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard Should the folks in Portland be concerned about Lillard teaming up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis? No, not really.Damian Lillard has gotten this treatment, of course. The Trail Blazers star expressed frustration with the state of his team after Denver defeated Portland in the first round of the 2021 NBA playoffs despite missing Jamal Murray and Will Barton. His surprisingly direct comments caused fans and analysts alike to wonder if he would consider requesting a trade during the offseason.
