Bryson DeChambeau roasts Brooks Koepka heading into The Match 5
Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are facing off in the fifth edition of Capital One's The Match on Black Friday and they're trading barbs on Twitter. On the day after Thanksgiving, golf fans could conceivably have a conclusion to the Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka feud that has drawn plenty of eyes over the past year. That, of course, is because they'll be playing in the fifth Capital One's The Match in a one vs. one showdown on the golf course. But while we still have a little more than a week until that 12-hole event from Las Vegas, at least one of the two golfers involved is trying to add a little more fuel to the fire.
The most infamous feud in the golf world will be on center stage for the fifth edition of "The Match" taking place on Friday, Nov. 26.
Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau will compete in a 12-hole competition in Las Vegas to finally settle their feud once and for all. Well, supposedly anyway. "The Match" began in 2018 between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, and since then, the competition is typically between two teams made up of a golfer and another famous athlete who golfs. For instance, the fourth edition of "The Match" had DeChambeau and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers competing against Mickelson and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
Watch: Bryson DeChambeau belts drives from hotel rooftop at Brooks Koepka target
The Brooks and Bryson hype machine for Capital One’s: The Match is officially in full swing. Ahead of their 12-hole duel on Friday, November 26, Bryson DeChambeau took an elevator to the 60th floor of the Wynn Las Vegas and climbed to the roof to hit a target with ar ch rival Brooks Koepka’s face on it. “Why’s he smiling? I’m about to hit him in the face,” DeChambeau said. From a height of 614 feet, DeChambeau launched a few drives over 500 yards to hit a target laid out on the Wynn Golf Club course the two will soon meet on for their head-to-head match-up. To hit the target required a blast of 521 yards.
The Koepka-DeChambeau feud may be well over, especially after the two appeared hugging and celebrating with each other after Team USA's win in the Ryder Cup at the end of September. Even if they have made up, expect a lot of trash talk between these two golfers, especially given their history.
Here's everything you need to know about when The Match 5 takes place, along with how to watch and who you'll be listening to on the broadcast.

How a group of cousins' gamble on joggers paid off — and became Primo Golf .
At the end of 2019, Matthew Gay and his cousins had an idea for designing a new style of golf joggers. They wanted the joggers to be stylish but have full athletic functionality. Primo Golf Apparel — primo meaning cousin in Spanish — started out with very realistic expectations. The company manufactured 250 pairs of golf joggers in hopes that some would sell. As a fall back, in case the launch wasn’t successful, the company’s plan was to sell the pants on Craigslist to break even. The company ended up selling out of all 250 pairs within a week and the cousins knew they were onto something.
