For his career, he has 1,103 passing yards 913 rushing yards and 388 receiving yards, making him only the 13th player in history to have at least 1,000, 900 and 300 yards in the three categories, respectively.
And now, he's set to remain in a Saints' uniform for a few more years after he signed an extension on Monday.
The contract though is not like others in the NFL as it will fluctuate based entirely on his role with the team. What makes his deal unique? Sporting News breaks it down.

That is going to be easier said than done for Hill, however. The Saints have seemed more content to use Hill in his super utility role in past years than thrust starting quarterback duties on him. Despite coach Sean Payton's praise,, Hill has started at quarterback just three times in his NFL career, and lost his audition for starting quarterback to begin the 2021 campaign to Jameis Winston. He last started at quarterback on Dec. 13, 2020, against the Eagles.
In his four games as a starting quarterback, Hill has completed 71.9 percent of his passes for four touchdowns with two interceptions, and he's rushed 39 times for 209 yards and four more touchdowns.
Winston started the first seven games of the season, but tore his ACL in a 36-27 win against the Buccaneers on Oct. 31 that ended his season. He is a free agent at the end of the year.
