Alvin Kamara (knee) has been out over the Saints' past three games, but he's officially "questionable" for Week 13's Thursday Night Football showdown against the Cowboys . Kamara is missing his fourth game this season while dealing with an MCL sprain.

The Saints decided against placing Kamara on IR after he suffered the injury in early November, hoping that he would be able to play without forcing a three-game minimum absence.  Instead, Kamara has now missed his fourth consecutive game, as the Saints offense has sputtered without him. He last played in the Saints' Week 9 matchup with the Falcons.

Kamara seemingly suffered a setback during practice before Week 11, and was limited in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 1 before being ruled out on Thursday.

In his absence (and with Trevor Siemian at quarterback), the Saints have gone 0-3, and they face off against an NFC Championship hopeful Dallas Cowboys squad on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 13.

Throughout his career, Kamara has been largely durable, missing just four games since 2017 before the start of the 2021 season. Kamara is coming off a big-time 2020 season, in which he scored 21 total touchdowns for New Orleans.

In his stead, the Saints will turn to Mark Ingram, Tony Jones and Ty Montgomery for backfield snaps.

The injury bug has bitten the Saints in 2021: In addition to Kamara, the team is without both starting tackles, Ryan Ramczyk and Terron Armstead. They already lost quarterback Jameis Winston and wide receiver Michael Thomas for the year.

Tonight's Saints starting quarterback, Taysom Hill, has also dealt with a foot injury this season.
