NFL STANDINGS: Updated AFC, NFC playoff picture after Week 13 of 2021 season

A potential matchup between two of the NFL's most productive running backs could be off the table depending on the status of Minnesota's Dalvin Cook, officially listed as questionable due to a shoulder injury. Cook's 773 rushing yards ranks seventh in the NFL and if he's unable to go, the burden will fall on Alexander Mattison who rushed for 90 yards on 22 carries while filling in for Cook last week.

Pittsburgh's Najee Harris ranks sixth in the league so far this year with 779 rushing yards although he's struggled to consistently net big runs, falling shy of 4.0 yards per carry in nine of his 12 games so far this season.

The Vikings opened as three-point favorites, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

Chargers sign first-round pick Rashawn Slater to rookie deal

Chargers sign first-round pick Rashawn Slater to rookie deal The Bolts took Slater No. 13 overall, beating the Vikings and other interested clubs to the punch . The son of former eight-year NBA veteran Reggie Slater, Rashawn started 37 games at either left or right tackle between 2017 and 2019. This included a sophomore season in which he earned Third-Team All-Big Ten honors. Slater also fared well against Chase Young in their final matchup of the 2019 campaign, not allowing the ex-Buckeyes phenom to record a quarterback hit when they were matched up. Despite shifting from right to left tackle as a junior, Slater did not allow a sack in 11 games that year.
