ESPN's Baxter Holmes reported early Friday evening that sources say 70% of eligible NBA players, or roughly 350 athletes, have received booster shots. Players were previously considered eligible for boosters at least two months after receiving the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, and at least six months after getting the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, non-boosted players must undergo daily COVID-19 testing through at least the All-Star break next month. Those individuals also face stricter guidelines related to attending indoor social events at public or private establishments.
