Kenneth Walker III is an NFL-caliber running back, and because of that opted not to play in Michigan State's bowl game in Atlanta. In similar fashion to Pitt Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett, he will prepare for the NFL.

The UCLA Bruins had their first winning season under head coach Chip Kelly this year, and it seems that they are now rewarding the former Oregon Ducks head coach.

Bruce Feldman of The Athletic reports that Kelly has agreed to a four-year extension with UCLA to remain as head coach of the team. UCLA finished with an 8-4 record this season, a vast improvement over the first three years of Kelly’s tenure.

Kelly has always been known for his offensive mastermind dating back to his option offense at Oregon, and it has paid off for UCLA. The Bruins rank number 1 in Pac-12 scoring, which shows that his system is certainly still working at the college level.

This extension will keep Kelly at UCLA through the 2025 college football season. There were rumors back in December of a possible reunion for Kelly to return to Oregon, but Oregon decided to go in a different direction, and Kelly will be there to stay at UCLA.
