Firefighters responded to a helicopter crash in the Hudson River near Midtown Wednesday, officials said.

The copter hit the water near 12th Ave. and 34th St. about 2:20 p.m., officials said.

FDNY and NYPD harbor units rushed to the scene.

The pilot was on land near 12th Ave. and 34th St., first responder sources told the Daily News. There were no reports of anyone injured.

The pilot is believed to be the only person aboard, but FDNY divers jumped into the choppy waters as a precaution.

The crash took place just a few blocks from the W. 30th St. heliport near the Hudson Yards, not far from where pilot Chester “Sully” Sullenberger famously landed a packed U.S. Airways flight on the river in 2009. All 155 people on board survived.

The pilot and passenger were the only people on board, the Ketchikan Gateway Borough said.
