According to a news release, the teen told another student that he was going to "shoot up the school with guns" and would target the "popular kids and teachers" at the school.

The threat was reported and deputies found the teen at his home Saturday evening.

The student confessed his plan to deputies and said that it was delayed because he didn't have a bulletproof vest, according to the news release. The student also mentioned that he was upset because he was suspended after he got in a fight at school and this was the basis of the threat.
