BPD releases video in fatal officer-involved shooting
Baltimore police on Tuesday released video captured during the officer-involved shooting last month that left a man dead. John Thomas Feggins, 24, of Philadelphia, was shot by police Oct. 30 in the Rite Aid parking lot in the 6300 block of York Road. Sign up for our Newsletters Police identified the officers in the shooting as Officer Ryan Glass, who has been a member of the BPD since 2005, and Officer Joel Hawk, who has been a member of the BPD since 2005, and Officer Joel Hawk, wh since 1999. Police said both officers are assigned to the Northern District.
OZARK, Ala. (AP) — A white Alabama police officer charged with murder in the killing of a black man says he’s still remembering new details about the shooting nearly four years later.
The Montgomery AdvertiserMontgomery police Officer Aaron Cody Smith took the stand Thursday to testify about the slaying of 58-year-old Greg Gunn in February 2016.
Prosecutors say Smith has given differing accounts of the shooting, including varying on whether the man swung a pole at him before he began shooting.
Smith told his lawyer during testimony that he remembered more and different details once he calmed down from the shooting. He says the episode was “traumatic,” and continues to recall new details today.
Prosecutors earlier played recordings in which Smith is giving differing accounts of the shooting days after it happened.

O'Neil was arrested on Nov. 20. Grumbs and Simmonds were arrested on Nov. 27.Authorities have not released information about what led up to the fatal shooting.
