"Just stop with that! Jesus Come on," Kenneth Gorski told a defendant, in a case where his golfing buddy represented the plaintiff.Kenneth Gorski has worked two afternoons a month as a part-time Wood County court commissioner since 2014, according to the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision. During that time he oversaw a small claims civil case in which his friend was an attorney, according to the decision.
Public health officials in Wisconsin have confirmed a case of the new coronavirus in that state, bringing the national total to 12.
The patient had come into contact with an individual with the virus while traveling in China.
The patient's illness is reported to be mild, and is in isolation at home. Health authorities said the person was never sick enough to require hospitalization.
"At this time, the risk of getting sick from 2019 novel coronavirus is very low," Jeanne Ayers, administrator for the Wisconsin Division of Public Health, said during a call Wednesday afternoon with journalists.

Starting Sunday, all flights from China to the United States will be rerouted through seven major airports. Chicago's O'Hare is one of the handful of airports where passengers will be screened, and those returning from Hubei province will be subject to a 14-day quarantine. Chicago resident John McClorey landed at O'Hare Saturday."It is good to be back home, that you don't have to breathe through a paper mask and you can't walk through an airport and train station where they are not taking your temperature," McClorey said.
The person had sought care in the emergency department of a hospital in Madison, WI. The health care workers who cared for the patient are now being monitored for symptoms.
There have been 11 other cases of the novel coronavirus in the U.S. One of those patients has been released from the hospital. The others remain hospitalized, doing "well," according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
