A video circulating on social media appears to show a driver intentionally running over protesters at a rally for George Floyd in Denver.
In the video, a woman at the wheel of a black SUV drives through a crowd of protesters on the street. As one man hops on the hood, the car accelerates — and he falls off. The car then appears to turn to hit the lone man, who gets knocked down. The woman drives away, with protesters chasing the car on foot.

Police in Salt Lake City said on Saturday that they intend to screen charges against a man captured in footage pointing a hunting bow at protesters during a local demonstration over the weekend.Local police told NBC News on early Sunday that they have "identified the subject in the video and will be screening charges on him for his part in the unrest.""We are aware of the incident because of the video that was shared with us and that will be part of the evidence," they added.In footage of the moment referenced by the network, a man could be seen appearing to load an arrow into a hunting bow while standing in the middle of the street on Saturday.
The incident, according to video footage recorded by Anabel Escobar, took place in the city’s Golden Triangle district.

Escobar told USA TODAY that the woman tried to cut traffic by entering a street that was closed.
“When she started moving,” Escobar said, “protesters moved towards her car to not let her pass.”

Clashes, fires near White House as protests escalate
Protests near the White House escalated on Sunday amid the continued fallout from the killing of George Floyd, with images on social media showing multiple fires and scenes of rowdy crowds even as a citywide curfew grew closer. Sunday night saw the third straight day of protests in the nation's capital following the release of a video last week showing a white police officer in Minneapolis kneeling on the neck of the 46-year-old Floyd, an unarmed black man. Floyd died in police custody shortly after the video was taken.
Escobar explained that the man who hopped onto the hood did so in order to not get run over and hopped off as soon as he was able. It remains unclear whether the man was injured.
A representative from the Denver Police Department told USA TODAY that they are aware of the incident and are looking for the driver and victim.
