Two staffers who attended President Donald Trump's rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday tested positive for coronavirus, Trump's campaign said Monday."After another round of testing for campaign staff in Tulsa, two additional members of the advance team tested positive for the coronavirus. These staff members attended the rally but were wearing masks during the entire event. Upon the positive tests, the campaign immediately activated established quarantine and contact tracing protocols," Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh told CNN in a statement.
Thehas been keeping its community informed and updated of the status of in relation to its campuses since the pandemic began in March.
University officials say, based on "the most reliable information currently available," as of Monday, a total of 143 members of the UGA community have tested positive for COVID-19.
They said these people include students and employees associated with any of their four campuses who have been tested at the University Health Center, as well as those who were tested elsewhere -- and reported to the UHC.
