The state of emergency established in April 2020 in Ethiopia to combat the spread of the coronavirus ended in August. More than 1,300 deaths from Covid in Ethiopia

Since the start of the pandemic, Ethiopia has recorded 91,118 cases of Covid-19 and 1,384 deaths. The week of October 12, 79 patients died from the disease, the ministry said. Only 2% of deaths are however officially listed.
