These cases were detected thanks to a "systematic screening campaign" launched following a first confirmed case of Covid-19 in the establishment on January 4.

40 positive residents

"This establishment currently has 40 residents and 19 staff tested positive , Covid-19 or this English variant ”, specifies the ARS. Four elderly people are currently hospitalized.

At this stage, the reinforced accommodation unit of the retirement home - the one that accommodates the most dependent residents, especially those with Alzheimer's - is not affected by the contamination.
