According to police, the body of an African-American or Hispanic woman was found near the Clark Lane Garden Apartments dumpster on May 12, just before 4 p.m. At the time of the discovery, the victim was wrapped up and placed inside of a shopping cart, officials said. Homicide detectives are seeking assistance in identifying anyone who may have seen the cart being pushed or has information on the homicide.

NEW DELHI, May 24 (Reuters) - A fire broke out in a shopping centre in India on Friday killing at least seven people, a fire service official said.

Television channels said some people had jumped off the building in the western city of Surat to escape from the fire.

Sudhir Gadhvi, a city fire brigade official, said up to 25 people were trapped in the complex.

“Our firefighting teams are at the site and working to rescue them,” Gadhvi told Reuters by telephone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Twitter he was thinking of the bereaved families.

"Extremely anguished by the fire tragedy in Surat," Modi said.

"May the injured recover quickly," he said, adding he had instructed authorities to help those affected.

Media said the shopping centre contained a tutorial centre for students.

Forklift accident kills 1 in southeast Houston.
A man died Sunday morning in a fatal forklift accident in an industrial area in southeast Houston, according to a Harris County official. Two men were operating the forklift on Nunn Street Sunday morning, with one at the wheel and the other in the bucket, according to news reports. The man in the bucket died, but police had not yet reported the details, according to ABC13. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences first got word of a reported accident involving the death of a Hispanic man at 9:15 a.m. and received a follow up call from law enforcement at 10:34 a.m., an investigator at the office said.
