© Reuters/Morteza Nikoubazl FILE PHOTO: Iran's national flags are seen on a square in Tehran DUBAI, June 10 (Reuters) - Iran criticized on Monday the European signatories of its 2015 nuclear deal for failing to salvage the pact after President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of it last year and reimposed sanctions, state television reported.
"So far, we have not seen practical and tangible steps from the Europeans to guarantee Iran's interests ... Tehran will not discuss any issue beyond the nuclear deal," said foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi.

President Trump on Friday warned Iran over this week's attacks on tankers in the Gulf of Oman that the U.S. blames directly on Tehran, saying in an interview with “Fox & Friends” that, “We don’t take it lightly.”
The European Union 's energy chief sought to reassure Iran on Saturday that the bloc remained committed to salvaging a nuclear deal with Tehran Salehi said Iran had several options, including resuming its 20 percent uranium enrichment, if the European countries failed to keep the pact alive.

Germany's foreign minister arrived in Iran on Sunday as part of a concerted European effort to preserve the pact and defuse the mounting tension between Tehran and Washington.
"The EU is not in a position to question Iran's issues beyond the nuclear deal," Mousavi said.
