The American TV and film actress Peggy Pope is dead. According to her family, she died last Wednesday in The US state of Colorado, as reported by the film sheets "Variety" and "Hollywood Reporter".

Pope was 91 years old. The actress, who began her career in New York's theaters in the 1950s, starred in TV series such as "Emergency Room" (ER), "Soap - Sweet Home", "Under the California Sun" and "Golden Girls". She also made a dozen feature films.
